End Gun Violence Festival

On June 2, 2023, I took my student journalists to the End Gun Violence Festival at Freedom Plaza in Washington, DC. We had the opportunity to interview the founder of The TRIGGER Project Tia Bell, Ward 8 City Council Member Trayon White, and others on what can be done solve this national crisis. People of all ages could enjoy free music, food, workshops and therapy. This is a movement we all need to be a part of.
