The National Cannabis Festival Is Bigger Than A Concert
On April 20, 2024 I was invited to photograph Dior Ashley Brown and the Filthy Animals at the National Cannabis Festival at RFK Festival Grounds. This is my first time attending the event. This is a lot bigger than a 420 experience. This is a movement to federally decriminalized marijuana. So many people of color have been put behind bars for either selling or using weed. Today we are seeing more people of color own dispensaries. The performances were dope. Explore the photos below to see who was there. The artists were at the festival for a bigger cause.
