The 30th Anniversary of Otakon

From August 2nd through the 4th, Otakon hosted their 30th Anime convention at the Walter E. Convention Center in Washington DC. Congratulations are in order for the convention as it broke it’s attendance record again bringing in over 46,000 attendees. It's been a while since I attended Otakon, but I can see why it's growing. There are so many things to do outside of spending money at the dealers room and artist Alley. I enjoyed the Friday night’s FLOW concert and the Otakon Exhibit. I fell in love with the Maid Cafe (food and entertainment event). Let's not forget about the amazing cosplays that were present. Otakon will take place again next year in the same location between August 8th through the 10th. I know I'm going next year. I hope to see you guys there!
