Black Lives Matter East of the River

In the wake of George Floyd’s death in a middle of a pandemic, there was a spark of hope in my backyard. After just covering a graduation parade, my mother called me to come see what’s going in the East of the River Shopping Center. To my surprise, I witnessed a diversed car line of people coming out peaceful to vocalize their rage against police brutality.
