My Time W/ Nat Geo Photo Camp
From October 18-22, my students and I had the pleasure to work with National Geography in their Photo Camp for a week. They had the opportunity to sharpen their photography skills with professionals and explore the DMV like never before. I’m so glad that my students were in this program. In my journalism club, we have such rigorous standards and deadlines. This was a chance for my students to explore the artistic side of photography. We would spend hours outside just taking picture of anything and having fun. This also gave me the opportunity to spend more time and bond with my students. This was a lovely staycation and I hope to take a new batch of student photographer to the next camp.
