2 Days Of Art All Night on Minnesota Ave!
On Oct. 19th in the East of the River Shopping Center Art All Night resumed in a spectacular fashion. What do I mean by resumed? Art All Night originally took place in September but the weather caused some activations to be postponed. BlerdCon was able to hold things down at the Dorothy Heights Library on Benning RD Ne along with Dj Heat, URB, Eclectic Cafe, and New Blerd Order. My community was treated to a gaming truck, free food and great music. This past weekend was a continuation of the celebrations of the arts. The closed Shoe City was repurposed into a gallery showcasing live art painting, acrobatics, sip & paint, venders selling their body of work. Out in the parking lot, we had live go-go, blues and fire dancing. I love to see things in my backyard. It should happen more often.
